I would have my friend drop me off at the door because the walk from the parking garage was too much. They insisted I come into the office even though I couldn’t drive. Originally when I joined they brought on some solid leadership but after two months on the job the CEO who was tasked with the turn around left leaving the head of the PE firm at the helm. Culture became bad quickly. They don't hire a lot of people so they expect their employees to work overtime without extra pay. However, they do provide some bonuses and their vacation policy is good. They are now bought out by and called Affirmity, an affiliate of LTG, a British company. Decisions can take months or even years. But on the other hand, you are often told to drop everything to manage a crisis. So it's not "fast-paced," it's just so poorly managed that everything is a crisis and you are simply there to put out the many fires that upper management are setting. Also, compensation raises do not cover inflation so you literally lose money over time working there. Privileges are randomly taken away company-wide, like working from home... and without warning and without any sort of compensation for losing a privilege outlined in your working contract with the company. There are great people everywhere, and at PeopleFluent I worked with some truly great people, but I can't recommend PeopleFluent as a place to work. Seriously, work anywhere else. The pay was slightly above average, but the culture essentially prevented any process improvements from being made. Although I was there 15 years, mostly because I truly liked the actual work, there was a layoff just about every year I was there, during the past 10 years. The early days were great and my teammates were great. Management was horrendous, HR just as bad. This is a place that has been sold many times during the past decade and the most recent sale comes as no surprise.
