Smaller group setting if that is the type of setting you where you can thrive. Some of the management can be brutal, and mean spirited. Everyone is always willing to help you with anything you need. Unlike my last position, Percussion employees go above and beyond their job titles and willingly wear multiple hats. It's the perfect environment for someone who wants to grow and learn a lot. Super smart people are around you every day. Yoga Tuesdays are a plus along with plenty of snacks! I don't have any cons about working at Percussion. Great start-up environment with a lot of good experience. Must be a 100% self-starter and a male to survive at this company. If you are a woman I wouldn't recommend working here. However, I am very sorry to hear that you do not feel that you have the same opportunities at Percussion as your male counterparts. Unfortunately, as women we are often out-numbered in the male-dominated IT industry. Based on a survey completed by Tracy Chou, a female engineer at Pinterest, the average percentage of female engineers in companies she surveyed is 16%. At Percussion, our percentage is significantly higher at 26%. Management is open and lets the entire company what is going on with product and the direction that the company is going in. Co-workers are positive about their jobs and happy to be here. There is a great work/home balance. Hard work is defiantly appreciated and rewarded! Management encourages growth and development of personal skills. We are provided with complimentary soda's; and who can resist the espresso machine! The benefits are great and HR is approachable if you have any questions. This is a great place to work and I look forward to coming to work every day. Upper management were friendly, Chaotic. I worked there for a few months. Their CMS product is hard to use. Some work was supposed to be handed over to me, but the person supposedly doing this left me with broken code, and the comment that he was billing clients in his first 2 weeks. The week long training was a joke no one was listening to the presenter.
