The role of "sales associate" or "associate vice president" is purely a cold-calling role. Within the organization you are a glorified telemarketer. If you are good at convincing old leads and individuals who use a free app to a "financial consultation" you will be promoted typically in one year and four to six months. Day in day out, required to dial 170+ times. It is incredibly difficult to find motivation every day, especially when expectations were not set regarding the role during interviews. Upward mobility within the organization is incredibly limited. Typically two routes, client operations and sales advisor. Most go client operations. Company culture in my department is good. Unsure about other departments.
Overall the business plan is incredibly poor. As a sales associate we will tell individuals whatever they need to hear to set an appointment for a sales advisor, that's how we make money in the role. However, the meeting is completely generic, and essentially a script from the sales advisor. You must be pushy in order to succeed in this role. If you feel like you can dial over 170+ in a day and maintain "pushiness" apply immediately, that's how you will succeed. My last note, be wary about accepting the role, you must commit a year plus dialing every day in order to be promoted and succeed. Turnover is incredibly high due to this.

Stay away!!! They micromanage everything. There is very little or no opportunity for job advancement the managers add very little value aside from telling you that you should have mentioned the free promotion in an effort to win the business
