The Role: This is a unique opportunity for an investment advisory professional to contribute in the pioneering of Personal Capital’s investment sales team.
The Vice President - Financial Advisor is responsible for the personalized, direct-to-client sales experience for Personal Capital’s investment advisory service.

Remote Delivery: Exposure to web-based investment service delivery. Comfortable executing a remote-delivery sales model -- paperless, branchless, cloud-based infrastructure – and delivering a quality experience that is better than traditional, in-person sales.
Compliance: Proven abilities to maintain appropriate policies & procedures for regulatory-driven requirements. Possesses a clean U4 record.
Expert, current knowledge of investment products and services.
Exceptional verbal, written and listening communication skills.

As we expand our service offering beyond Wealth Management, we’re looking for a Banking Operations Director to join our digital banking team to both manage day-to-day operations of our banking products, and help set strategic direction as we continue to expand into this vertical.
Responsibilities
Oversee all daily banking operations activities
Develop strategies to improve the efficacy of and drive additional growth to our products in the space
Assist in the design of internal procedural controls and policies
Design and implement fraud mitigation policies to both reduce overall fraud as well as minimize false positives on the platform
Serve as the main point of contact for our product delivery partner

Description: As Senior Product Manager, you will be building and scaling services that drive Personal Capital's user engagement. You will be responsible for enabling engagement by building and maintaining the systems and tools that our product relies on - from notifications, in-product messages and prompts, onboarding, and more. Position Summary:
We are searching for a Senior Accountant to join our growing team in Redwood Shores. Under the direction of the Accounting Manager, this individual will play a critical role in the preparation of financial statements and reporting for the company. This hands on role is responsible for addressing tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including month-end close, financial reporting, support of tax, and other financial activities.
Essential Functions:
Perform a variety of month-end closing procedures, posting of journal entries including but not limited to cash, prepaid rent, deferred assets, fixed assets, debt warrant liability and revenue in accordance with GAAP
Assist with financial statements & analysis
Perform monthly flux analysis and monthly analytics
Complete assigned reconciliations of assets and liability accounts and provide detail support for review

Assist with AP/AR functions
Reconcile monthly credit card transactions
Track fixed assets and prepare depreciation schedules
Prepare sales and use tax returns

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, required

Position Summary:

The Tax Specialist will collaborate with fellow team members to review current and prospective client tax situations and will consult directly with advisors and clients around tax projections and strategies.
Holistically review and identify problems, inefficiencies and opportunities related to estate and tax planning for clients.
Work with internal Estate Planning Strategist on tax, wealth transfer matters, charitable giving, and extensive one-off unique transaction strategies (i.e Real Estate and Stock option projections).
Remain up to date on tax law changes and comfortable communicating the effects of any changes to advisors and clients.
Help develop a national CPA and tax specialist network.
Occasionally work with internal teams on developing and disseminating tax related content, from training for advisors, to Personal Capital’s official blog postings.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
2+ Years of HNW tax experience
CPA License and advanced qualification in Personal, Family and Small Business Tax management
Experience with Tax Planning Technologies , Proficiency in MS Excel and word
Advanced research skills to assist in providing possible solution for complex client issues
Master’s Degree in income tax a plus
