Overall, the best thing about P2 are the people. They are genuinely nice, and always willing to take the time to help out if you need it. Pros: - Great people - Lots of help learning if you need it - Annual conference, different city each time - Good remote culture - Good leadership, they are really honest Cons: - Overworking is not uncommon. In fact, its pretty normal. Its really up to you to set those boundaries and walk away after 8 hours (doable, requires practice) - Hard to get the work you want in an agency environment. You many be stuck on a project for a long long time that you are no longer learning from. Or perhaps on similar projects for an extended time. Its not easy to get on a project or working with a technology you want. - Agency environment, so might deal with frustrating deadlines that are completely unrealistic, designs that just don't work, clients that client, and so forth. Also fast paced at times, and completely slow at others. Overall though, if you're wondering if you should apply to P2, go for it. A very limited number of employees are given opportunities to work on creative and interesting projects. They do not encourage nor allow the bulk of their employees to engage in meaningful and challenging work. While the clients + projects can be interesting, the project management leaves something to be desired. Apparently nobody has read "The Mythical Man Month." Also, if you're looking for something other than Drupal or frontend work (primarily with Angular) you're going to be out of luck. The "delivery teams" are typically a good mix of senior and junior types. Advancement and professional development opportunities are limited.
