Too much of clicks in office at pcom and gossip and falsefied information
I worked for pcom it was nice in beginning but I feel it is not a reputable place to work, they replaced two managers in one year and workers keep getting laid off of job. They switch workers around all time from different doctors.

Great schedule, no room for professional growth
The work life balance is great and the work is often fulfilling but there is no room for professional growth. Furthermore, there is no sense of comradely, especially as a midlevel practitioner.

Little to no training was given
There was always drama, and talking about Others with certain members of the staff. Faculty & staff did not blend well Together. Communication was not good.
Pay, benefits, and hours
Communication, mishandling. Training, finger pointing and talking behinds other staff & faculty backs, pettiness, overall the work environment was toxic

South Georgia Campus Has Poor Management
The plant operations departments supervisor is a moron. He really has no clue what’s going on. He has a retired mindset, and there is no direction in that department. If you want to work, he will micromanage you to the point where you won’t do anything without asking him first, then he want give you a yes or no answer. He puts a dip in his mouth which is against school policy then walks around like an idiot trying to spy on you. Don’t get fooled by this dude, he’s a state man, lacks drive, and has no knowledge of how technology works. Just a complete moron and back minded individual.

Productive, fun environment
ITS Team was small but awesome and everyone knew their roles.
Management staff and students plus faculty were very accommodating.
Everyone worked well together to ensure the projects were completed.

Standardized Patient

PCOM is not a bad place to be a standardized patient. They are passionate about their students and the material. The program is top notch for the level of student graduated and the skillsets built.

Feel Welcomed from the First Day
As an older institution there are still silos and difficulties navigating the hierarchy, however new ideas are welcomed and the overall climate is changing to embrace those that may not be doctors. GREAT PLACE TO WORK!

PRODUCTIVE and fun work place with a pool table
I love working for PCOM. Management is fair with compensation and work-life balance. I would recommend anyone to work here with a new and exciting culture that is always evolving.

Capable, Caring and Collaborative
PCOM Leadership and Organizational Development Masters Program and Master's in Public Health Program operate with a belief that students and faculty are co-learners, with each bringing knowledge and expertise to the classroom. There is an earnest investment in students' academic and personal growth. Open communication without rancor is valued. The guideline for engagement is 'relationship before task'. Faculty are working on diverse projects making our meetings a learning lab. It has been an amazing experience to work in this department.
