I loved seeing my students every day. I always made sure they were safe in the bus and they treated each other with respect. The hardest part of my job was being strict with them because I don’t like to discipline them but it’s for their safety and well being.

I enjoyed helping the children go to school and take them back to their homes. I enjoyed taking the children on field trips. The only thing that i didnt like by the company was that my pay was not high enough for the responsibilities of being a bus driver so I resigned from the job.

Great administration and team collaboration. It was an enjoyable place to work. District has a lot of trainings, a bit too many in my opinion. The class sizes and caseloads are very heavy. Their report system is not as modern or efficient as other districts use, their IEP paperwork requirements are very lengthy and time consuming, taking away from servicing the students and meeting critical needs.

I think the staff are accepting and easy to work with I work there as a full-time teacher and a substitute. I think discipline plans throughout the school should be more consistent. I think students need to stand firm discipline..

Never would I ever work at this school again.

I've taught at a couple schools prior to this school and had amazing experiences with the administration & the students. The main thing I want to point out (and I doubt this is all of the Phoenix Elementary Schools) but the kids run the school. Admin at my school changed frequently and the kids could do whatever they wanted with absolutely NO consequences. I couldn't get out of there soon enough. High turnover rate. Not for lack of trying, but there is rarely parental involvement hence, the kids don't care either. The ratings for this school has declined & I certainly wouldn't send my kids here.

admin constantly changing the rules, the kids' behavior was unbearable with no support from principle, lack of control of the kids.

You must Love teaching to be in this field. Low income school districts always need teachers and unfortunately do not attract enough qualified educators. Student to teacher ratio is very off balance, minimal support from administration, and way too much to do in the day.
