Great department, poorly managed payroll system

- People are great to work with.
- Hours are flexible.
- Innovative.
|
- 401k is "offered" but matches don't get processed, i.e. missing money.
- Dental / medical insurances lapse without communication from HR.
- Payroll and Finance offer unclear / zero communication about missing paystubs and delayed paychecks.

Great Company, Entrepreneurial Environment

|
They promote an entrepreneurial mindset, they make you want to come into work and are open and receiving of ideas from all of our team members. Everyone pulls their weight and gets their work done. They have programs for employees (like our flyaway program) and are always keeping everyone up to date and together.

I cant think of any cons yet. It's a small company, there's no issues between people or departments which is a huge deal.

There are none, this company is GROSSLY mismanaged!

Honestly, I don't understand why these folks are in business, or who gave them money to start one. I went to work here as a customer service rep. The job itself is very easy. Management is God awful. I don't mean they are characteristically flawed, I mean extremely unprofessional to the point of illegal.
1. The manager in customer service takes customer calls on her speaker phone? It is very difficult to take calls when a full on speaker phone conversation is going on in the next cubicle.
2. Office memos are sent out with English a 5th grader would use. No punctuation AT ALL. I could not read them it was so bad.

3. I was supposed to come into work at 6am. No issues there I love an early morning shift. I got a fab key, day one of my shift I could not get in the building. Day two I got in with no issues. Day three I could not get in the building. At 5:30am in downtown Vegas? I am making a 15 mile drive to work at that hour for my key to not work and I didn't get as much as an apology? Or the code to the door so I could let myself in if the fab key didn't work.
4. We were told twice in writing that we were going to be paid on June 13. On June 13th the owner of the company sent out an email saying we were not going to get paid until June 30th. So employees are supposed to work a full month without pay? That is ILLEGAL in Nevada.
I had finally had enough, I quit. According to the laws here in Nevada, I am supposed to get all my earnings 7 days or the first pay day (which ever comes first) after I resign. Guess what? They are trying to drag their feet with my final paycheck. Which again, is totally illegal.
DO NOT GO WORK FOR THESE FOLKS! YOU WILL NOT GET PAID.

Please go to college and graduate. You should not be in business if you cannot treat your employees with basic respect, and pay them. People work to get paid. If you don't get it together and care about the people who work for you, you will always be a revolving very high turn over rate job.
