The CEO, Scott Mitchell Rosenberg, has build a company with some strong departments. I learned about Rights management and the value of owning intellectual property, like the 1000's of characters it owns. The company always has available development work, and acquires new comic book based properties.

The hours are sometimes long, but the company allows many personal days off without asking questions. Can't have an active social life all the time, but that's like other production companies, too. Not required to work long hours, but enthusiasm is contagious.

Company's CEO, Scott Mitchell Rosenberg, has personal relationship with the presidents and chairman of major studios, networks and many entertainment companies. Most of these relationships are 10 - 15 years strong. Creator friendly company. Great place to work, and treats all outside creative talent with respect. Employees and the freelancers are all passionate about the company, many working with it for over 10 years.

There aren't very many. A lot of hours, but most entertainment companies require after hours work, and staff doesn't have to -- everyone wants to.

Don't believe anything current management tells you

Lots of opportunities, and they overpaid a lot of mediocre people, which is great if you're mediocre and only know half of what you're supposed to know.
|
Duplicitous, to the point where I'm pretty sure everybody else who gave a review of Platinum Studios was phony or bought off. The goals here were great, but management sucked every last cent from investors without even blushing for how badly the people responsible screwed everybody who worked hard to fulfill great promise. Booo! to the bloodsuckers.

No one is obligated to work long hours, but you end up wanting to make the deadline.
