Lausanne is an amazing place to live and work. Switzerland doesn't offer many exciting tech startup work opportunities so Poken is rare. Poken's top leadership views employees as expendable commodities. People start working there very excited but very quickly they leave or are fired. The team is smart, driven, and passionate about what the company does. The company's philosophy of openness, integrity, and humility makes it a very non-toxic work environment! Because it is a start-up--and one undergoing explosive growth at that, there are many late nights and do-what-needs-to-be-done situations. This is usually OK with the team because of the passion for the product.
