Company Description
Pop-Post is an independent entertainment company, showcasing female artists and fans in the gaming, comic and animation space. Pop-Post has partnered with Twitch -Amazon to produce “PopArt!”, a live-stream weekly talk show premiering this spring on Twitch,YouTube, Facebook and Pop-Post platforms.
About Founder, Kathleen Hiraga
Kathleen was part of the original MTV, Nickelodeon & VH-1 Creative Services team in New York City at launch level. She was #30 employee hired as MTV’s original staff photographer and graphic designer as a member of part the award winning Creative Services team. She has spent her career in the film, entertainment and start-up culture as an art director, producer and serial entrepreneur, and is focusing on new media in the digital entertainment space.
Objective
Pop-Post is producing Popart!, a weekly livestream show premiering this Fall. The show features Emma Fyffe, our weekly host, and includes viral guest hosts from gaming and entertainment channels including Twitch, Geek & Sundry, Polygon and YouTube. We’re building a community that speaks to the ever-growing female global game, animation and comic audience. We’ll be showcasing our Twitch weekly show, focused on female artist interviews, news, sketch bits, creative showcases, product reviews and on site events including ComicCon, E3 and niche gaming and esports events.
