Poor Communication and workflow

Unfriendly coworkers and extremely departmentalized culture where management is distant and seems annoyed in most interactions. Terrible communication with clients will lead to extremely stressful situations and having to needlessly redo your work. Also since the work is client based there will be long stretches where you have nothing to do.

Family run business with high turnover, poor management
|
When it's busy, it's very busy and you are expected to work overtime. When it's slow, watch out - layoffs.
People are hired and fired on whim.
Only family members are safe.
There's no structured training, policies or consistency in processes in the front offices. Definitely more organized in the warehouse/plant area.
The president is one of the owners and is driving the business into the ground.
