You only have value if you work overtime. Management has no idea who you are or work on. Kissing butt and fake friendships over work ethic... Waste of time for a skilled artist or entrepreneur... unless your like me and only there to stack. I put 20k away in a short period. But I’m here for the biz and not show. Process is underdeveloped, they’re software is cool. Cross training and department comradary would help. Lots of gaps in communication, lots of young people with no clue. Middle management is childish and would rather gossip than train or communicate. Your a tool used improperly. You have to kiss butt. Met a lot of cool peeps... Heard about some cutthroat things, most of it for the select. Only need a few ppl in this dept... rest just bodies and disposable at any time. Don’t get played - make a play... run it up.

Fast-paced work in a fun environment
|
PDS had by far the best workplace culture of any company I've ever worked for. Starting salaries were on the low side for the area, however much attention was paid to each employee's productivity and attitude and generous merit-based bonuses as well as advancement opportunities were given to employees who demonstrated a good work ethic and proactive approach to problem- solving. Benefits were outstanding as well, with the company covering 100% of employee premiums and up to 6% matching 401k contributions. Medical benefits were robust plans, not chintzy, and there was a transit/parking reimbursement benefit when I was there as well. Free lunches were provided on Fridays and there were several company- wide team building events per year that included trips to Universal Studios, Haunted Hay Rides, bowling competitions and more.
The workplace environment was supportive and jovial for the most part, but the nature of the work was very deadline-driven and employees were expected to perform; excessive slacking and a casual attitude towards work quality was not tolerated. Many of the senior managers and directors were employees that had been hired as entry-level techs and were promoted repeatedly as a result of their hard work, creative problem-solving and proactive, positive, can-do attitudes.
In short:: Premiere was a great, fun company where rock stars were recognized and rewarded but it was not a good place to try and coast along unnoticed while maintaining a robust social media presence during work hours.

I believe communication could've been ten times better, but when you come in and only get your orders through email. It kind of puts a damper on things. But the overall atmosphere is pretty laid back and relaxed for the time I was working there.

I have been working at Premiere Digital Services. Doesn't Recommend. Horrible horrible company. Save your time and work somewhere, anywhere else. This place is terrible. They make promises they don't keep. They take everything and burn employees out and give nothing back. The CEO treat their staff teribly. Very oppressive work environment. They promises raises later on but never give them when the time comes. Advice to Management - Pointless. Their the problem.

It is a straightforward work place, you clock in, get to work, you get your weekly meeting with your supervisor. The workload varies depending on the season and what new clients have signed on. Overall a positive workplace although it has undergone a lot a changes since investors have taken over the management aspect.
