Work experience
I learned accounting process behind the scenes of front the liners' transactions and behind the debits and credits of member's account. I enjoyed working with POCU I built friendly relationship with some employees. I had good memories who touched my life while working at the credit union. The management are friendly and easy to approach. They appreciate each and everyone. Great leadership, a sense of humor, and empathy with the members and employees. I have an awesome immediate supervisor - very knowledgeable, helpful, good direction and have empathy with her staffs. I like the fun committee it makes you feel how the management gives importance with their employees. I love their bbq party, bowling, and watching baseball events. Must meet everyone to see their own unique personalities. Overall its great to work with POCU.

Was not a good place to work at
I have nothing to say about the company.
They do not hire full time anymore. The managers are jokes. I was not satisfied to work for a company just to cover lunches for other workers.

The job moral was low at this Credit Union
I only work their cause, I needed the experience of working in credit unions. This gave me good experience, but I had to work very hard to move up from receptionist, into the Loan department.
I lived only walking distance from this credit union
Benefits were bad

Good workplace, but here is little room for advancement
Working at PriorityONE gives you the opportunity to learn a wide variety of skills and jobs. The management is very open and communicative with the rest of the staff. The employees are friendly and hardworking. The most difficult part of working for PriorityONE is the fact that there is little room for advancement. They are a small credit union and therefore do not have many opportunities to advance your career. The best part of the job is how close knit all the employees are.
Close knit employees, good schedule

No room for advancement

This was my First Credit Union that I worked for it was a stepping stones for me
Clock In, see what i had in my basket, their was always something, a loan application to work up, mail from my member. I would receive all kinds of documents for their loan packages. I would run credit reports, work up loan, and make my opinion, to approve or denied the loan application, always within established policies and lending authority given to me. I learned something new every day. The management was nice. And my co-workers were nice and helpful, we were team players. The hardest part was leaving the credit union, but i had to, I was offered better opportunity at Los Angeles Police Credit Union, more money per hour and much better benefits.
Free lunches, commissions, close to where i lived at the time
No room for advancement, needed better benefits

We assist our members in meeting all of their financial needs while providing world class service to our members every day.
The financial institution I work for is an excellent company all around. All of my senior management are professional and knowledgeable in their capacity. There is a lot of room for growth with the credit union and I am currently being cross trained in real estate lending to ultimately fill a much higher position in the year to come. The HR department is always hands on and assist in making our work environment second to none.

Horrible place!!
Management is extremely hostile most of the time condescending and back stabbers. Most of which are not educated only puppets to their supervisors. No advancement unless you Are somehow related to a supervisor.
