The work is easy, repetitive, and can get boring which feels soul-sucking after some time. Don't get a job here expecting a wage increase after a probationary period despite what they may tell you - there are few if any raises. There are performance-based secret shopper bonuses available about once every week or once every two weeks depending on your shifts. Each successful secret shopper bonus is $200 divided among the crew that was working at the time the secret shopper came in.
Little to no room to grow, few opportunities to move up in the company. This is a small location and you will more than likely never move away from being a crew member so you'll have to find a new job eventually if you want to become a shift lead or make more money. Management and the lack of upwards mobility is the biggest hurdle and annoyance. Expect blatant favoritism and possibly unfair application of rules and punishments. You may fit in well if you're just out of high school and can stand being surrounded by immaturity but if not, find something better.

Questionable Work Environment
|
Many co-workers were very disrespectful towards each other. Shift/store managers didn't do enough to keep tensions low and prevent harassment. It was a rather uncomfortable "bro" environment.
Because of how crazy the work environment was, it was at least entertaining to come in and witness the disfunction.

Fun work place but busy.
|
I would go in at 10am some days but would commonly work afternoon to night shift 4pm-10pm. The training videos were fun and really tested your knowledge. I mainly worked salad bar up until a few weeks before I put my notice in where then I would work as cashier. I was so good at making sure there was no cross contamination and I did really well on special orders. The managers were great and honestly they made the whole job worth it. Thee worst/hardest part. was tthe dishes but every place is different.

Worked there for nearly 2 years, if cane be a stressful job, as managers want there bonus so they will run shifts understaffed a lot of times. The pay is good and staff are nice

Could be a good opportunity to jump on the ladder if you don't mind to work way over your contracted hours without any compensation. The money is good compared to the rest of the industry. Unfortunately, this comes with zero work/life balance where it is expected to sort things out on your days off/during your holidays. Internal promotions happen way sooner than people are ready, so people get pressured without training.
