Good job for teenagers trying to get first time work experience. Works well with school schedules and guaranteed hours. Also part of an union which is always a plus.

Good work environment

Management was good. You could have a work/life balance. The only con was that you were offered only full time if you were there 5 years or more. Otherwise a decent job to have with job security as well especially in these unprecedented times.

Not a terrible job for someone looking to make some extra cash. I worked in the bakery in a store that's now closed. It was infrequently busy, so I had time to study behind the counter and out of sight. Union job!

When i first started working at KingKullen I really enjoyed working there because it was really easy working there after work and after graduating high school i stayed for a year due to the benefits but it not a job i want to stay forever

There are a lot people who you befriend and it makes the job easy then I first thought when I started and I a few while I was there. The manager were thoughtful and understanding when I needed to take a few days off for family reasons.

Decent job for a few years
|
Being a cashier was fine, customers were rude most times but the shifts flew by. Being a bookkeeper was fine but favoritism amongst the office ruined the experience. Staff was cliquey but what do you expect when you work with a bunch of high schoolers. All in all, was not a bad job. My advice: clock in, don’t watch the minutes tick by at snail pace, clock out.

Totally fine part time work
|
I work here part time while I was in highs cool, and for that purpose it was fine. I learned a lot about customer service, how to handle rude people, how to handle money, and I'll probably always remember the PLU codes for the different produce. It paid minimum wage which was fine for a high school cashier, taught me the value of a dollar and I had a perfectly acceptable experience there.

Management was abusive and condescending to it's employees
|
Pharmacy upper management was verbally abusive and played favorites with their pharmacists. It appeared to me that the pharmacy upper management was always looking to berate and belittle their pharmacists. I saw management target pharmacists with disapproval and slowly remove them from their positions. Not a pleasant environment to work in and not a professional company to have worked for.
