Nice, professional co-workers for the most part, at least the ones who show up, which is a real problem

Unless you like hearing every half hour where sales are at, how the store is doing in conversion, how many credit cards have been opened, and being told to "go talk to that customer" even though you already checked in with them, then I would think about working at Madewell, Dunkin, Target, Sephora and Wegmans, all pay more than Crate. And you will do ALOT less lifting, carrying, and listening to managers who ride you all day long.

Amazing coworkers, interacting with customers, creating floor spaces, and learning about furniture.

Corporate do not care about the store employees. Training is super short and you are expected to hit sales goals after barely training and understanding the goals. The sales goals are too high with no commission. The bonus structure is terrible. Less than 1% bonus per quarter. They are trying to incentivize sales but not offering much at all. When sales are low, you are constantly feeling pressured by the store management. You can tell that its a trickle effect from management. It creates a stressful/hectic envirot nment with unrealistic goals.

Decrease the sales goals. Having an hourly sales goal is unrealistic and stressful. Most sales close on the weekend which you are aware of. It creates a stressful/sales goal environment. The associates know how to sale, without the pressure of an hourly sales goal. Increase the quarterly bonus. The sales associates are making you a ton of money and you are not doing much for them.
