Amazing place to work!
Great culture and people to work with. I've never worked anywhere I've felt more valued than I do at projekt202!
The culture and work do vary drastically between locations.

Great people under bad management
The people you interact with daily are great to work with and genuinely want to help you do your best work.
Compensation is below market value and is not competitive at all.
You'll be stuck on projects with little to no information or direction and will have to figure it out as you go sometimes.
Promotions are hard to get, not based off merit and seem more on pandering to egos.
Turn-around is quick due to mismanagement and nepotism.
They tout a work/life balance be aware that this can quickly be removed depending on their needs as clients needs will always come before your own.

Stop leading on engineers with promises that can not be fully fulfilled as well as telling them that they act as "consultants" they do not have any pull, sway or any input on any project. Look into hiring more junior / mid-level engineers before trying to hire senior engineers as they're well aware of what they're walking into. The best and brightest have been leaving multiple offices because they know better and got tired of all the constant issues and power struggles when dealing with management.

Great people doing the work, completely absent management with no executive leadership
The people you work with on a day to day basis are some of the best you will work with. The team members generally care about each other and doing good work.
Compensation is NOT on par with the market. As others mentioned, you can and will likely get stuck on a long term project with just about zero help, guidance, or support from leadership back at the office. There is rarely, if ever, any communication from management on mundane things, let alone anything forward thinking or strategic. Promotions seem to be based on how presentable you are and how well you pander egos upward. This is not an organization for companies that like to get things done... too much much focus on fluff activities that RARELY even come close to offering equivalent amounts of business value to their cost.

Understand you are no longer unique or special in the world. The fact you have not really evolved your business offerings or are able to demonstrably show the value you add with your expensive and lackluster research illustrates how asleep at the wheel you have been. Get out of your ivory castles and actually participate on some projects to understand the reality of your business, your people are more than just numbers in your spreadsheets. I tried my best to communicate this to whomever would listen, ultimately to my detriment, but it was more important to to you for me to just quiet and keep billing.

Great for UX, awful for Software Developers
There are still some good, smart architects left at P202. And the UX and Design people are great.
The software engineers, especially the backend software engineers, are put on extremely large projects and treated as Staff Augmentation to the big companies that are hiring p202. P202 software devs don't "own" the projects and don't have any control over the technology, the design, even the code. The full-time employees at the client sites are running the show and sometimes don't even assign work to the P202er's. It wouldn't be so bad except the Addison office is all hip and cool and the people who work there might as well work for a different company. It's extremely demoralizing to work at a depressing client site where you're treated with disrespect and distrust and then come into P202 and see everyone laughing, happy, and drinking beer on tap and acting like they still work at a startup. And the software devs out at the client site might be there for years with no exit strategy and no other projects they can move to.

Stop telling your software developers that they are "consultants" and accept that they don't have any input or control over the projects. Start hiring people with less experience that don't know how bad the Enterprise workplace is. Your best and brightest people are all leaving because they know better.

Don't Buy the Hype
If you're a designer, this is a great place to work and this review is not for you.
The office is cool. The people are fun.
If you're in development, and you have very little experience, this company will hire you at a title for which you're not ready.
Health benefits are strong.
If you are a very experienced developer, they will underpay you in order to keep their billing rates down.
Because they underpay, they are consistently short-staffed. You still have to deliver.
The client calls the shots. So they may promise you WFH days, or reasonable travel time, but that's hollow. The client dictates the terms.
They will engage with any client willing to pay - which means some really bad clients. The people with seniority get the good clients.
Worst of all, there is a creepy culture that encourages employees to snitch on each other.
