The GMs and managers are under qualified. They show an abundance of favoritism to whom they like, and it shows. Absolutely no growth with the company unless you’re liked by a GM or pretty much kissing up. They also have team leads that work the shift with managers so you have 3 people telling you to do things at once. Very hard to work comfortably with everyone breathing down your neck. Food was very average, not 100% fresh. I’ve worked at a smoothie bar before so i have experience in that area. Here, they don’t have enough components inside the shakes so they are somewhat very icy basically milk, protein, and ice. (Need More Fruit) Not enough hours because they give them all to the employees that has been there for years. (waited on a 2 week check for $236) SN:( i have a life and bills) No benefits. You’re basically coming in to help out not a place you look forward to coming in and vibing with customers and your whole work crew! The next person doesn't get in until rush hour and it gets hectic before our typical rush hour at times (btw, rush period is between 12-1). During that time you MUST stay at your station, water and bathroom breaks are prohibited and get you in trouble if you take them. Most weekdays there are huge catering orders and not enough people to keep things running smoothly. If you close, you have to do cleaning tasks because that isn't divided by the whole staff as a whole. Most times morning doesn't leave with enough back ups and you have to handle guests, your station, your tasks, AND keep your station stocked through it all. Management is messy, they all talk badly about each other and tend to put each other down/ get in trouble. Some coworkers can be lazy and it slows the team as a whole. some managers are lazy and not qualified for their jobs. The chances of getting a promotion based on hard work are very little. They would rather promote someone with "more time" than a hard worker who knows all stations. If an employee complains about how poorly things are run or about how a certain station isn't so clean, management will tell them to mind their business and just do what they're required. Although they need people, they tend to refuse to hire new people and over work their employees. Would rather be short staffed than to pay someone else over time. The co-workers were fun and easy to get along and work with. The environment was relaxed, customers were kind for the most part.
