It depends on the location you are working at. The venue/hotel is your number one client. There was a lot of freedom in the job. The benefits were pretty good. No need to cold call, the clients came to you from the hotel. Commission was nice. The larger of the property, a big hurry events which means the bigger your commission will be.

Because the venue/hotel is your number one client, keeping them happy is huge. Sometimes it really depends on the property you were working at. Some places are great with amazing staff to work with. Some are very resistant especially to pricing. This can get challenging. You are responsible for maintaining that relationship even if it is out of your hands. You also have to really negotiate your salary.
