From day one, I felt like an integral part of a dynamic team that valued creativity and innovation. The work environment was exceptionally collaborative, fostering constant learning and growth. One of the standout aspects of this job was the cutting-edge technology stack we used. It allowed us to build sleek and efficient mobile applications that garnered positive user feedback. The freedom to explore new solutions and approaches was encouraged, making every project a rewarding challenge. The management was supportive and appreciative of our efforts, promoting a healthy work-life balance. Overall, my time as a React Native Developer here was a truly enriching experience, and I couldn't have asked for a better job. There's no better solution in market and I am confident they will continue to dominate the market for loyalty and CRM. I learned how to sell a sophisticated SaaS product into a rather unsophisticated target market. The role was remote and typical day required a lot of prospecting with an average of 1.5 - 2 demos per week. Most effective form of day-to-day prospecting was performed through email. Most effective way to generate referrals was through channel partnerships. Most effective way to grow your pipeline outside of day-to-day prospecting was by attending trade shows. Best form of marketing was "logos" i.e. the more apps you launch the more inbound leads the company would receive. This really would have been the perfect job. The only downside was (as with many start-ups) timing; I happened to be there during a time when there was a backlog and corporate re-structure (that's why my ratings are lower on commissions/job security/management/culture). In good conscious, and out of respect for the job search community, I have no choice but to be candid with you as to ratings. That said, I would NOT let this dissuade you from working at Punchh though. I left on good terms and ended up working for one of their channel partners (still working here). As a result, I work very closely with the Punchh team. In fact, I am really good friends with them. They're doing great right now! They are absolutely dominating the market and signing the most reputable brands. I am sure if I was working at Punchh today, they would have 5 stars across the board. The hardest part of this job for anyone that does not have a "Rolodex" in the restaurant chain space will be ramp-up. It's a longer sales cycle and will require a lot of heavy lifting in the beginning to build your pipeline. It took me 4 months to land my first contract (and that was considered really fast). Rest assured, it gets a lot easier once you're established (hence the 4 star rating on work/life balance). | Best product in market, worked remotely, only had to travel about once per month | Timing.
