Young and Hungry company with great atmosphere

I’ve been working at Pure Digital for a few years now and honestly, I couldn’t imagine working anywhere else. It’s a small company so we’re a pretty tight knit team. Everyone is friendly with each other and super supportive in their language. It also helps knowing you’re working with some of the most knowledgeable people in the industry. Show them something a competing agency did and they’ll show you how to do it better. The analysts and account managers are constantly pushing themselves to exceed their clients’ expectations, even though they’ve already reached the established goals. They just never seem to settle or get complacent.

This is only natural for a young company but Pure Digital is not as well-known as some of their competitors. I wish more companies knew who we are because they’re missing out by sticking with a conventional agency!

I've worked with Pure Digital for a month through Toptal to develop their new website. Working with Benjamin and his team has been very nice because of the fast and clear communication. They're very pragmatic and get straight to the point of the matter to get the work done. It helped me out a lot with developing their website because usually I'm chasing the client for more information and feedback, which in turn makes me frustrated and not overall happy with the experience, making me look forward to seeing the collaboration come to an end.
With Pure Digital and their team everything has been perfect and I look forward to more projects in the near future.

The best part about working for Pure Digital is a collaborative culture. It’s absolute pleasure to be surrounded by such intelligent and motivated people on a daily basis. Other notable pros I would point out are the quality that my managers expect of me and that the company expects of its employees overall, open communication, ability to work remotely (once a week) and engaging culture.

Personally, I don't have any cons.
As with any start-up or growing company changes happen quickly as we evolve. That being said, a person working here should be flexible and comfortable in growth working environment.

Only pro i can think of was that they paid for your lunch every day. To be honest, I have no idea who wrote any of these "5-star" comments. Maybe I came at a wrong time.
|
- There is no structure in this small agency (one example was that I did not have to sign anything, nothing at all, to work there)
- There is no learning culture (and God forbid you don't know something)
- Senior management have serious attitude problems and are far from professional
- The CEO is all over the place; he wants what he wants, whenever he wants, no structure, guidance, nothing.
- The turnover rate is astronomical (while i was there, like 7 people left)
- The pay is ridiculously low because supposedly there is "commission" to be made, but c'mon, like that can make up for the crazy low salary.
- No benefits, overtime, laptops (had to use our own personal laptop to do work), or any coverage of any sort.

As an experienced SEM manager I'm really impressed with the knowledge base and strategic expertise from top to bottom. There's a great balance of "work hard, play hard" which is really great for young professionals. The best part is the company is growing so leadership really throws a lot of career growing opportunities at you if you want them and it really is the perfect atmosphere to demonstrate your strengths while also building upon you potential short comings. Love it here!
