Purple Bricks might sound great but everyone complains how the company has Poor Management in the cal centre .. all managers in the call center are pals.. no wonder theres always disputes with other team members. and from rumors I heard they are Cocaine Addicts!!!
if they dont like you they find a reason and sack you or terrorise you until you leave yourself.
HR do not have a clue what they are doing.. the are not up to date with anything they will have a conversation with you which wont be logged. they will send out important letters or email and when reminded its apparently lost or they deny information that was given before. They are unprofessional.
I recommend Purple bricks CEO, stakeholders to really consider well when they are employing management and HR staff as these people play va very important role within the company.

This company would have been more successful had it hired managers to run the company that actually had escrow and real estate experience!!

They hired people to manage the department that had NO ESCROW EXPERIENCE! Too many managers that should have been in other positions. No knowledge of managing others!! It’s sad that they wouldn’t listen to the people who they hired to do the job with years and years of experience but listened to people they hired with NO EXPERIENCE IN THE INDUSTRY!!! No wonder they FAILED!!

Purplebricks is a great company for newer agents to get their feet wet with lots of experience. However, the amount of work/time it consumes for very little compensation. There is a pressure to use their services even though you're an "independent contractor."
From speaking with agents who work at redfin it sounds like similar business models expect redfin gives their agents benefits.
Overall I felt due to lack of financial opportunity, Management's terrible style, and no training is a recipe for disaster. There are many sites out there with the real experience of sellers working with the company, do your research before deciding to join them

Where to start. You will be busy!
It is expected of all the agents to represent buyers since that is where PB make most of their money.
You will be busy every weekend with open houses(sometimes 2-3 a day) in order to find your buyers. If you are a new agent this may work for you because you don't know any better but seasoned realtors know that most people who show up to the open houses already have an agent or don't want to give you their information. Besides, it takes more that 2 hours per open to have a successful open house. You will be required to answer to upper management if you are not representing enough buyers.
If you'd like to get experience, this company is ideal but don't expect to get paid much. You pay your own real estate dues, signs, marketing and don't get any benefits. Also, expect to have a long drive whenever you are expected to go to meetings.
I was busy, too busy and my customer service suffered which opened me up to bad reviews and mistakes. During my time at Purplebricks I had no time to spend with my family or even enjoy dinners with them. I spent most of "my time off" catching up on admin work.
They claim to offer plenty of support but upper management can be rude and unapproachable and will make you feel like you should be honored to have that job. Regional managers tend to micromanage and call at all hours of the day.
