It was a friendly environment everyone was nice and polite. it was an easy first job and I had no trouble adapting to the environment. I enjoyed the job as I was able to pick my own schedule.

Very inconsistent work schedule

I can't rate this company highly. There is no advancement possibilities. No consistent hours. It's based on length of the project, be that a utility survey for Pacific Gas & Electric or FPL or PSE&G out of New Jersey. Many of the surveyors fraudulently filled in client questionnaires without management really objecting so long as it passes client scrutiny. There is no such thing as a pay raise to my knowledge. Also you could be out of work for days even weeks sometimes in-between surveys. Also it's rather 'streety' meaning I've seen a number of people come from off the street to work there with little or no background in doing surveys.

Not a lot especially since work was not consistent & wages stagnant.

No healthcare benefits; no ability to go over 30 hours, yet the hours made it difficult to work another job in-between

Bad environment
|
Did not care about the rank and file. Unrealistic deadlines for the limited resources the company had. Most people burned out and left within 2 years.
