Bad IT Management
|
Severely inexperienced IT management/leads, they attempt to compensate for this by micro-managing employees. Several mandatory hour long meetings where they talk about nothing.

Please don’t work here and save yourself
|
This job will drain you with poor leadership and training. From persona experience this place will not train you effectively and then send you out on the floor on your own. The management is never wrong and when you bring anything up you are told that you will never move up in the company. They will keep people that will sexually assault other co workers but will threaten to fire people going through mental health issues. They hired me on at 15 an hour and after a year I make slightly more then that, but they will hire a new class with people making 18. They will say that it will even out but after over a year that has yet to be seen save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else for employment.

Not worth it.
|
Trust me on this, the positive reviews are fake or from management that still works there. Expect everything you do working here to be u see a microscope, unless you are anything but a CSR. If you are anything but you can do whatever you want with no repercussions. Training motto is “oh you’ll learn that on the floor” instead of actually helping/teaching us anything. Many more reasons that won’t for on here.

Hard to impact tech from Chicago office
|
The teams are too big, 30+ devs on one team. Its hard to make significant changes. The language use is Scala. Every peer review is a nightmare. Everyone has different opinions on how to properly write basic logic in Scala. You will get dinged for silly nit picky trivial things. Best thing is the reviewer will wait at least a day to re-review your code. San Franscisco team will have most of the subject matter expertise, good look finding it.

Productive and fun workplace
|
My manager was very supportive. I enjoyed coming to work everyday and facing the different problems that user's would be having. I hope all of my future jobs can be like that.

Military precision, high expectations, low rewards
|
As an hourly employee, expect every minute and every keystroke to be monitored. Shifts are bid every few months and what you start working may change based on what is explained as business needs.
No rhyme or reason on how work is distributed. An 8 hour day may have 15 minutes of work or it may have 7.5 hours of work (all hours, less your breaks).
Promises for advancement and opportunities do not materialize.
New hires will be paid more than you.
Bonuses are missed or not paid on time despite record profits for the company.
Excellent health and dental insurance. Pitiful paid time off plan.
If you have an emergency or death in your family, be prepared to be fired for late attendance and missed absences, regardless of whether the absences are paid or not.
Cruel treatment of some hourly staff. "Coaching" is what degradation is called.

Once upon a time
|
I really enjoyed working for Rally I loved my supervisor, coworkers, even when we were in the basement I still had my own desk. However despite the great work culture, amazing benefits, and decent pay the management definitely ran its top employees away. Management all transferred from Telus already with an agenda. Turn Rally into Telus and run it down into the ground. Mission accomplished

Toxicity at it's finest
|
I've been here for quite some time and over the past year, this environment has turned toxic. Inept management, team leads who are hardly present, and the divisiveness between the 2 offices is unreal. The pay structure is laughable as new hires will get paid more than you and the bonus program is a joke. Adults that can't clean up after themselves is the icing on the cake.

Becoming negative, toxic, lower salary
|
left because the atmosphere was becoming toxic and micromanaged. Also my pay check was going lower with no new business coming in while other companies are hiring at a higher salary.

Fantastic work environment

Fantastic work environment with managers that care about their employees and their lives outside of work. They are understanding when life happens and how it can affect your productivity.
