- Regular meetings every week so you know exactly what is going on within the company and what projects are being worked on.
- They provide you with everything they can to make your job easier.
- As a remote employee, they send you things randomly throughout the year which is nice. It's all about the little things.

The only con for me was that I wasn't a full-time employee, and I wish I could have been.

Sure, we work hard and it can get stressful, but we provide a great service and results, truly care for our customers, and the work-life balance is great! Ramblin Jackson has created new core values that drive the company forward. They are leaders in their industry and know their clients well. There are constant improvements in process documents, internal communication, support for vendors and employees, ongoing growth + learning, and more.
Leadership is structured with process documents, but you are encouraged to bring new ideas to the table. It's a company with integrity, which can be difficult to find in the online marketing world.

Like any company in this industry, there is a tendency to keep working. Turning off the work mode is difficult. One of their core values is craftsmanship in work + life. While this is a core value, it's a practice that's difficult to follow as most everyone at RJ wants to do good work with integrity. This is not a dig on RJ as a company but rather the industry.

It is a pleasure to work with a group of people who are not only dedicated to personally doing the best job they know how to do, but a company that "walks the walk" for their customers. The management at RJ is genuinely committed to making their customers successful. Employees who embrace this environment thrive. There is a lot of freedom to contribute and have your ideas heard. Bonus "Pro": we have a lot of fun doing what we do.

All businesses in this space have stress: difficult clients, crazy deadlines, software and tools that don't work like you expect them to. The nature of a distributed/remote employment model is that sometimes you don't feel like you have enough information to do a good job. I wouldn't recommend this line of work to anyone that isn't self starting and self reliant. This is not especially a commentary about Ramblin Jackson, but the type of business they/we are engaged in.
