Not the best place to work

The park district is an okay first job if you are just starting at 15 but after that, working at DTPD sucks. You WILL be underpaid for all the undesirable you have to deal with(which are not in the contract), and there is a good chance you will be fired if you ask your manager any questions about pay(I've seen it happen). The managers act on favoritism and give the more sought after shifts to the ones they like, and the undesirable shifts to the ones they don't. That creates a huge gap in pay because the sought after shifts are the ones that pay more, because of overtime. You will get judged negatively by your coworkers and superiors for everything. Worse off, if you are in school, especially high school, it sucks because all the mandatory trainings are during the actual time of school and the time that after school sports would happen. You will not be allowed to work if you do not attend those trainings. Overall, DO NOT WORK HERE, there are places more rewarding and places that pay more that are more worth your time.
