- Reinforces empathy as a company cornerstone; this is one I had never felt at any other company but I feel at Rauxa; could be due to heavy female executive staff (impressive)
- Focus on diversity and culture; lots of events, all-company meetings, and newsletters on the topic; always looking for more ppl to join these extracurricular activities
- Kind staff; not many egos but a lot of hard-workers eager to learn & grow
- Connectivity to parent-company Publicis; opens to door to opportunities within the network
- New data-driven offerings; looking for Rauxa to expand with more leadership like this

- Not the quickest to make changes but it's trying to improve
- Most ppl have a heavy workload and hours can be demanding; company leads do encourage time off and taking breaks (unlimited PTO time) so employees do need to work with their direct managers to resolve/improve/problem-solve
- Not always hiring the perfect candidates; causes stress on existing teams who have to make up for the skillset gaps
- Needs to invest in PR to get the word out about themselves
- Would like to see more general inspiration from the company leads; difficult to do remotely but something to asprire to do

Don’t expect much from the management. Don’t know first thing about culture and by having 90% of their revenue come from Verizon, they let the client do whatever they want and allow their people to be horribly mistreated and disrespected. Sexual harassment and other discriminatory actions are rampant. Especially don’t work here if you have young kids. They will fire you under the guise of restructuring if you bring up the reason you can’t work 12 hour days is because you have kids.

The place is a DM extension of Verizon. You'll be doing all the bottom-feeder crap that the Verizon hacks won't touch. That means lots of letters. The brand work is done by a creative agency. Rauxa has to follow whatever they say. If you're creative, the place will suck the life out of you. If you aren't, you'll be fine.

OK company with some great people

Met some great people while in the trenches. Had exposure to many types of clients and projects. The offices were all very nice.
|
Leadership doesn't react to feedback. Everyone is overworked and leadership does nothing to change this. Lots of people come and go at any given time because of burnout. Culture is more based on popularity and personality than it is a singular goal to hire people who better the company.

Horrible Senior Leadership and Burnout is Inevitable

Co-workers are talented and hardworking and really cool to work with. NY office is nice and trendy, a typical agency experience. Company also pays well.

NY Senior Account leadership is awful. Senior leadership blames subordinates for their own client mismanagement and lack of collaboration. They drive burnout with extremely long hours, even pushing people to work on holidays. And they enjoy torturing teams with non-sensical project / deck / creative changes, when the project / deck/ creative was it's best the first time around.

Pay more attention to the hours that your employees put in and hire more employees to balance out the workload. Upper senior management needs to pay attention to the clients' needs rather than feeding into their own ego. If a client relationship is at stake, work to manage their needs rather than trying to just put out the fires.

The people you work with are amazing and super talented. Also, company culture is actually diverse and fun. Tip: If you have a chance to work on other accounts besides Verizon, take advantage of it!
|
Your direct bosses care for you, but there is only so much they can do when Senior Management can't deliver what they promise. Title changes are great, but you can't expect for employees to work at that level and put in overtime without compensation. The work is also not the most fun/interesting but you do get a lot of experience working for a world class organization such as Verizon.
