Voiced concerns about a co-worker who was pulling kids by their arms, yelling in their faces, and calling kids "colored"- I was told this co-worker (who has been there for 5 years) would recieve "more training" to address the aggression she was showing, but that's all I was told. Instead of addressing the issues, they fired me for "gossiping" (telling 2 co-workers my concerns when asked how things were going) and "lying" (when they could have easily seen the behavior on their cameras if they looked). Mind you, the person I was expressing concerns about had something negative to say about *everyone* she works with and specifically the special needs kids, too. I was also told I had missed 50% of the days I was scheduled to work, which is impossible unless they didn't account for doctor's notes and days I was sent home due to my ADA disability (which I was upfront about on both my application and when I started working there). Overall, a very deceptive experience. I had been so excited to work there, but what I thought was a caring and understanding environment wasn't that at all.
