It’s just like most other restaurants. Hard, dirty, long hours. Weekends required, but flexible scheduling, good benefits. Management is paid decently.

Good first serving job

If you have no experience, RL is a fine place to start—you get trained on all the serving basics, upselling, time management, etc. Clientele is not great, though, and business is dreadfully slow with ridiculous overstaffing of servers. No auto gratuity for large parties. A plus: plates are expensive and, with the right tables, you can make good money. Upper/corporate management can be intense but restaurant managers are generally chill, though there are of course exceptions. If you have any restaurant experience, I'd find someplace else; otherwise, this is a decent first serving job.

It can be fast pace at times. The management team had their own personalities but they all want you to succeed. There's no teamwork anymore and things get stressful.

Excellent first job! Staff is friendly and helpful. Management is willing to take the time to help with any situation. Most guest are friendly but occasional intoxicated or rude guests visit and management is trained and willing to handle these situations.
