Sehr offene und transparente Kommunikation. Man trifft sich nicht nur auf der Arbeit, sonder auch in der Freizeit. Bei RE'FLEKT hat jeder die Chance sich selbst zu verwirklichen. Es liegt an jedem selbst und das meine ich ganz ernst! Kreativität und Einfallsreichtum sind in dieser Branche unabdingbar. Wer zudem noch Motivation mitbringt, dem stehen alle Türen offen. Die Arbeitsatmosphäre ist echt super! Kein Mikromanagement. Die Vorgesetzten vertrauen den Mitarbeitern. Man hat viel Freiraum! Wichtig ist, dass die Arbeit erledigt wird. Vacation entitlement is over the average! I've never faced issues when it came to a vacation request. The C-level management does a really good job is down-to-earth and always approachable. There is no hierarchical barrier at all. They always try to be maximum transparent about every decision they made - which I find really important. Supervisors attache importance to regular 1-on-1 meetings, half-annual and annual personnel reviews - thumbs up! With more than 10 different nationalities in the company the diversity is very high. There is no doubt about equal treatment at the company. The management does a really good job to be transparent. We've got for e.g. a semi-weekly "Ask Us Anything" session which is organized and moderated by the management, a monthly Grand Production Review, where the departments do present their projects and where you can get an update about what is going on in the company. And I really like our monthly internal News Letter. Quite nice well equipped office. Lots of meeting rooms. Two kitchen areas. A nice roof top terrace with BBQ. Free coffee and fruits. Good infrastructure. I've never faced issues by myself or heard anything about discrimination of employees because of their age. Most of the colleagues are really nice, open minded and friendly. It is not allowed to say names here but there are some really inspiring individuals! Really cool products and technology! Start-up atmosphere. Good feedback culture. Die Möglichkeiten könnten noch etwas transparenter sein, da wird aber wohl in Zukunft auch dran gearbeitet. Die Vorgesetzten sind jederzeit ansprechbar, Ideen muss man aber teilweise proaktiv vorbringen. Dann ist aber fast alles möglich. Es gibt verschiedene Austauschformate, die die Möglichkeit geben, zu verstehen, was die anderen Teams gerade machen. Außerdem auch die Möglichkeit direkt Fragen an das Management stellen zu können, ist super. Im Sommer ist es zwischenzeitlich recht warm. Die Dachterrasse kann das aber gut ausgleichen. Ansonsten gibt es sowohl Mac Books als auch Windows PCs. Für konzentriertes Arbeiten kann man sich kostenlos Kopfhörer aussuchen. Die Kollegen sind wirklich super und machen es einem leicht Anschluss zu finden. Die Aufgaben machen Spaß, sind sehr vielfältig und man weiß oft nicht, was der Tag noch bringen kann. Die Abwechslung ist sehr motivierend. Transparenz und Offenheit wird gelebt und Verbesserungswünsche werden umgesetzt, wenn auch nicht immer gleich. Da macht das Arbeiten Spaß! Wie gesagt, mehr Erfahrung (z.B. gegenüber Kunden) könnte von Vorteil sein. Wir fördern aktiv die Vielfalt In einem sehr jungen Team fehlt manchmal ein alter Hase mit Ruhe und Erfahrung Keine Klimaanlage, Baustelle nebenan. Aber die geht bald weg. Wir haben nicht so viele. Wir hätten aber gerne mehr. Viele Events und Aktivitäten fördern den Zusammenhalt Manchmal können wir uns die Kunden nicht aussuchen. Aber es gibt ethische Diskussionen. In der Branche sehr bekannt in Europa (International im kommen) Immer wieder neue Bereiche der Industrie. An der Vorfront der Technologie. Since I'm still studying, I'm expecting to have chances where I can put my knowledge into practice and this is really being provided for me as best as I could ask for. I even get to decide approaches on how to develop our projects which is something that rarely happens for students. Since the day I came here I was assigned to a mentor and the whole system was explained to me clearly. I was assigned to a real task(not a "you are a newbie/student, debug this till later" task) and I have received every guidance that I could have asked for. Not only the mentor but all the senior developers are very knowledgable and have helped me with my problems and questions on very short notices. Couldn't ask for more. Literally! Very friendly and stress free means of communications(such as group/individual chats instead of Emails). Everybody in the meetings feels comfortable to talk and ask about the related issues. We have monthly office meetings where every team presents its monthly development. You enter a room with 60 other people and you don't feel a shred of pressure. I've had meetings in school where I felt more pressure just walking into the room :) Again the only thing I can think of is that fully open floor that I mentioned. While it's a good thing to have flexible seatings, I personally like to also have a space that is kind of mine so I can leave some stuff there and don't have to set up my desk everyday and clear it before leaving. Also the lack of personal space leads to seeing no other objects aside from work objects. Usually you see people customize their working space with pictures, plants, miniatures or other gadgets and the likes of these. But here we don't have that, at least not in the development area. but it's not that big of a deal so 4/5 :) My task is quite individual, so I can't say how it is to work with others on a project but everyone has been really friendly and helpful and as for getting around daily tasks, all you have to do is write one line in group chat and you get your answer in less than a minute. The only thing I can think of is that we don't have a proper trash recycling. I honestly couldn't ask for better tasks. Getting to develop cutting edge stuff and make actual development decisions while you haven't even finished your studies is probably the best case scenario for a student. Really good and chill atmosphere. The office has an open floor plan and the only thing that I could think of is that it would be better if while maintaining the open floor space, there was some more division in interior planning of the office. This way you could engage more with other colleagues and speak to them more comfortably. Now every time I want to talk to someone I feel like I'm disturbing others.
