Project managers work hard and take care of the field guys. The person in charge of the East office cuts budgets and personnel to make more money at the expense of the safety and welfare of the employees. Also, employees are hired just to fill voids to complete projects. They will blame the field people or the clients for jobs going over budget and beyond schedule. Get ready to work 60-70 hours a week as well, and kiss your weekends good bye. So if you have a family life, forget it. Constantly on the road with little breaks. It's a revolving door. Definitely a family atmosphere. Good pay, too. Yearly bonuses are very nice around the holidays. Can excel in the company fast if you work hard and safely. Medical benefits are not great and very expensive, hourly employees get no vacation, no holiday pay. Lots of hours worked without a break in the summer. The office manager in the northeast has a short temper, and yells at project managers a lot. Micromanaging from the office manager is pretty bad, and sometimes will change the scope of a project without telling the project manager, but will yell at crew if he does not know every little thing that happens on the project. 1.0 POSITIVE 0.0 NEUTRAL 1.0 APPROVE 2.0 3.0 2.0 3.0 4.0 2.0 1.0 817702 Open It is hard to keep employees at a good company that offers no time off for five years. Also, focus more on communicating with the crew in a more respectful manner, or more people will look for other jobs. The crew in the northeast works so hard to do a good job.
