The only reason this company is still standing is due to the hard working lower level employees that go above and beyond to make up for the lack of leadership, vision, and competency present at this orgnaization.
|
The power grabs and politics amongst "leadership" mated with unqualified nepotistic hires create an untenable environment for any employee looking to actually learn and develop their careers.
Pay and benefits are about as low as you can get in the area.
Successful departments and employees are eventually driven off. At best, there is no path for growth here. At the worst, favoritism and nepotism will elevate individuals not fit for duty above those who deserve it.

I was able to take on interesting projects and have more autonomy than I'd originally anticipated. My inside sales role was the company's first, so I had the opportunity to build it out from the ground up. Management was supportive of my ideas and communication was generally good.

Communication between departments can suffer, especially when new products or initiatives are coming online. The company's dynamic nature can make for changes that leave you with more to do than you have time to manage or take away projects that are a big part of your role.

Dog friendly work place for most, dogs just aren't on leashes moat of the time so if you have a dog that can't play friendly then your out of luck..

Lack of communication is a big problem at this company, it's been brought up so many times its now a joke among the associates and other Leaders. Executives seem disconnected from the direction of the company and their workers. They are also payed in crazy amounts more then the individuals who are more knowledgable about the field and do the ground work for projects. Raises are rare.
No diversity or encouragement for career advancements what so ever. Most higher paying positions get filled instantly by friends of the executives. Lots of turnover with a lot more to come if things don't get fixed fast.
HR Executive is extremely extremely unprofessional and tends to openly trash talk current workers and past ones that have left. Brought up multiple issues to HR about racist and sexist comments which were brushed off as miscommunication (She did nothing to fix this). Very disappointed.
During my "exit interview" I was basically attacked by HR regarding personal matters that had nothing to do with me. But that is her style after all.
Working remote is an option, but be careful because some executives and managers from other departments will automatically mark this against you by just assuming you're not actually working if you are not physically in the office. Basically devalues the actual work you are doing and is very frustrating which makes life work balance even more impossible because you will be working at odd hours pretty often due to the company being internationally ran.
No growth for your future. New employees are found to be paid more then ones that have been working with the company for years. Job security is non existent due to HR threats and another higher up openly commenting that we may not be in operation next year if things continue the way things are...

Re-evaluate internal protocols and communication needs. Hire people at livable wages and give your current employees raises that make sense for their past contributions to the company. HR needs to be more professional and stop threatening people with job loss.

I can’t say good enough things about the Marketing team. Everyone was friendly, honest, collaborative, they actually cared about you as a person, and how you grow as a professional. They encouraged you to grow your skills and bring new ideas to the table, and paid for training if needed.

Lack of transparency and trust with executives
No room for growth for most positions
As of posting this review, nearly the entire Marketing team has either left or was laid off
Issues with nepotism for higher level staff
Untrustworthy HR for lower level staff, in part due to the point above
Company is very disorganized and struggling to find its identity and get a foothold in this niche and fractured market
Services, branding, positioning etc. constantly changing with no clear direction, structure, or plan of action that causes field staff, operations and med support to get the brunt of the work and learn on the fly
Experienced managers and executives who have been with the company and know the industry have almost entirely left
Most of the sales team do whatever they want, and don’t collaborate well with the rest of the company. Trying to get crucial feedback from them for important projects or events is nearly impossible.
The future of this company is, unfortunately, very uncertain. Don’t work here if you’re hoping for job security.
