Homeowners and contractors would call in for various reasons and the job is to best facilitate helping them and resolving any issues. I learned a lot about having a patient attitude when it comes to legal documents and verifying income from prospective clients. Learning from my peers was essential and helped me thrive in helping homeowners. Management was very diligent in helping and support us for particularly difficult applications and did a good job every day. The most enjoyable part of working there was being able to resolve an issue for a homeowner in real time and hearing the sigh of relief they would give after knowing whatever issue we were talking about was taken care of right away. Many of the folks I spoke to had HVAC problems; and resolving those issues, you could almost hear their smile through the phone that what they wanted was addressed. The opportunity to help people across the country with many different issues, to help with. Don't work here. They are unable to provide any consistent or viable business model. They are unable to police their loans and the company's they provide the loans through are the shadiest, fraud ridden, company's you can find. RF has no way to permanently secure long term financing or management to continue growing. ALL other competition is going/gone out of business and now being scrutinized by multiple government organisations. Long term outlook is this company and industry will disappear.government and will possibly be Short term decent paying job. I loved the "job duty". MGMT was very biased though... Only supported/covered coworkers who they liked, went to the club with, or ate lunch with. They implemented many policies, fired people they weren't very close with for minor things. However, they kept lazy employees who bent the rules and got away with it. I just didn't get it? They opened up a Georgia office, paid those employees more than what their CA employees (the originals) were getting. CA office cleaned up errors made by GA office. Promised attendance schedules took 4 months to process. Again, it didn't matter if you worked hard or had better reviews on your work, they gave their "friends" the good schedules. They also gave promotions with no raises. Yes, they have a snack area and free food... but is it really worth it? I don't think so. I think the new Office Manager tried to be fair but it's tough when some of the Supervisors on the floor aren't. I did learn alot from this workplace despite everything. I voluntarily left and used my experiences as a stepping stone for the next place. If you do decide to work here, work hard, be positive, learn what you can, but don't be taken advantage of. No work place is perfect but never let anyone undervalue you.
