You learn how to play monopoly....but in real life and with peoples lives. You learn the inner workings of con artists! This isn’t a real company that wants to make profit. This is a façade: a rich man’s excuse to be able to waltz into this country whenever he pleases. Google the biggest closed sale in NYC real estate for 2016...it belongs to the owners, and news flash, they don’t live there. Why? Because they need an address to put down, and a “business” to back it up. By the way, that’s on Billionaires’ Row - sounding like a familiar game yet? They don’t care about making money, they don’t care about the people they employ. They just need a legitimate excuse to come here and play aka spend money. Everyone that has ever worked here has been a pawn in a rich man’s game. Do yourself and your families a favor, don’t work here. You will never get anywhere, no matter how talented and brilliant you are, or how hard you work and how much you dedicate yourself. If in a position to affect the growth of the company, there is some opportunity to present and implement ideas. The opportunity to 'shine' as an employee is largely self driven. Perseverance is a requirement to success in this company. You get to meet and build great relationships with your co workers because we are actually human and not PSYCHOTIC. Therefore we have emotion and understanding and can verbally have real conversations......other than that there isn't any pros, so sad. They sell you a dream during the interview and hiring process claiming to provide all these incentives when you work in their company which never happens. Expectation to perform is at an ALL TIME HIGH with no kind of reimbursement. You take on responsibility on top of responsibility that really isn't in your JOB DESCRIPTION it's in theirs because you know they're too lazy to visit the stores they built and run. Super efficient in finding an issue with how you do your job and blow it up to all kinds of proportions just to cover up what is REALLY going on in the stores. The director's main goal is to put FEAR in the employees and have them SALUTE to you when you walk in. That is not how you run a business, especially a children's one. While everyone goes to work and does their 9-5pm, she comes in at extremely late times especially when there are scheduled meetings. Comes in at 3pm and rushes employees from their lunch and phone conversations to join the meetings and if YOU'RE not ready then it's a problem. With the amount of cigarettes and Starbucks she drinks she should just be a barista, but then again that requires SKILLS that she doesn't have. She wants DIVISION in the workplace and does not want inclusiveness between the employees. CEO is a nice guy and can actually have a sense of humor and human emotion but is BLINDED by this woman and we ALL know why. 1 + 1 will always equal 2 therefore we're not stupid. You live in America, there are endless opportunities once you resign from this company. Use the negative experiences and turn them into lessons. I worked for RGA for three years. The corporate management's limited intelligence and lack of business skill will eventually run the entire corporation into the ground. What is "Queen Bee" good at? Micromanaging, demeaning, creating an inferiority complex, empty promises, and slave driving. Imagine working a JOB and being told "we own you/your time" imagine being forced to work 8am - 1am b/c "I need you there in the morning and I'll also need you to close and then do inventory" imagine working for a company who forces you to work 15-20 days straight with out overtime pay or extra PTO (paid time off). Imagine having PTO but being told "this is not an acceptable time to take PTO, I'll let you know when you can vacation." Queen Bee would call me at 1 & 2 am to discuss numbers, I'd present an idea and she'd introduce it in a conference call as her own. It's unfortunate that the part-time hourly employees have to work 6 straight hours and it's frowned upon when they want to take a breather and break for 15 minutes. Single coverage helps "keep the budget under control" but it's not safe for the children in the 20+ thousand square foot facilities. They have part time employees working over 30 hours a week for more that a 6 week stint, in NY that's cause for health benefits, instead of offering those benefits to the hard working personnel they find reasons to write them up and fire them. The conversations about the employees and the clientele the stores attract (from corporate) are atrocious, to say the least. It's dehumanizing to work for this company. Also, the cash handling is poor, the continuity in training is below average, the lack of job description is embarrassing, the GM's can barely offer a simple gratitude to a customer without calling corporate to ask permission. The overall operation is flammable. Don't be fooled when you're told "there's room to grow" Queen Bee will "test" you and make you do a thousand things for a raise just to tell you need a 30, 60, 90 review (3 months!) after you've proven yourself. Absolutely nothing good about being enslaved to a company. RGA has no clue what the hell they are doing! Upper management especially. I wasn't aware that you needed to have no compassion for human beings in order to make it in that company. I can say the ONE thing I learned in that company was how NOT to treat people. Take a look at all of the successful companies in America right now....... the one thing they have to attribute to their success is highly engaged teams. They treat their employees as human beings and with respect. This is America, not Saudi. You can't treat people like slaves and tell them "we own you" (actual words out of the Queen bees mouth) and expect to get results. Taking advantage of employees will get you nowhere except bad business and judging by the absolute failure of the entire company I can see they haven't learned a thing in the 4 years they have been in this country. Nobody including the malls and contractors wants to deal with them because they never pay their bills and make back door deals that they never follow through on. Everyone who has ever worked for them will tell you the same thing. And let's not even start in on all of the labor laws they violate......being required to work 15 day stretches, almost all employees are on single coverage and not allowed to take breaks, not paying people overtime when required, The queen bee calling you on your personal cell phone at 12,1,2 o'clock in the morning requiring you to discuss business, the list goes on and on. -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 NEGATIVE 6.0 1.0 1.0 1.0 1.0 1.0 1.0 644509 Open Go back to Saudi!
