Lots of old fashioned micro managers. Development practices are lacking and do not keep up with current tech. Everyone has to suck up to managers and executives. Lots of fake people and no incentives or bonuses. Flexible schedule. Understanding of family first. Yearly reviews and raise's are never disappointing and a rarity for most local companies. There are also plenty of opportunities for advancement for those who are motivated, driven, and a little tenacious. Outrageous expenditure on food, events, perks (which is a pro if you like that kind of thing!) Excellent Benefit Package. It can be a stressful environment because all employees are held to an extremely high standard. This can be exhausting some days, but if you're committed and up for the challenge, it can shape you for the better.
