Working here is wonderful! The corporate atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, but productive. People are pleasant and helpful but work gets done. The hours are regular, and management is usually understanding about outside of work emergencies.

The ability to work side by side with seasoned professionals was something that also couldn't be beat. Because Revenade is a smaller, growing company, I can voice my ideas and suggestions freely and get support and feedback from my team immediately. There is a great sense of community and a strong work hard, play hard attitude. Everyone has the same main goal of success for the company, so the environment is always supportive and fun. Revenade's solid core values and unique business model really contributed to why I chose to intern with them. Around the office, there is a very friendly and encouraging environment. As an intern, I was able to experience a variety of tasks, build connections, and feel like I really made an impact with my work. I am so glad to have called myself a member of the Revenade team for the summer!

There is sometimes an air of uncertainty in a small, growing business and this can be difficult at times when there is not a clear, defined path. However, if you embrace that flexibility, it really allows for more freedom to use a unique approach to achieve something and to contribute in a novel way.

Something to put on the resume, but look to get out as soon as you can.

Very good work/life balance. As long as you put in 8 hours a day they are fine. VERY laid back (depending on the kind of person you are this can be good or bad.) Not much micromanagement. You can be involved in almost any part of the company you want (HR, research etc.)

It is really nothing but cold calling 8 hours a day. All day. Every day. Upper level management does not really do a good job of communicating. Company culture is so laid back that it doesn't really contribute to your growth as an individual and professional. Wasn't too proud to tell people at networking events that I was a professional telemarketer. If you have no other option I would take the job to put it on a resume, but you really won't develop the skills to land your dream job.

Communicate more effectivley. We all want to have fun, but we also want to grow and become better professionals. I don't need you to spoil me I have grandparents for that. If some of the company clients came in and saw how nonchalant we acted they would be very upset. Naturally I was not surprised to find out that our clients were not too happy with us.
