AspireIQ leaves a lot to be desired. With constant layoffs, your job never feels safe. Senior leadership often takes advantage of lower-level employees and masks under their work. Promotions are fairly limited. The C Suite is extremely unprofessional - often swearing at and yelling at employees instead of leading by example. Overall, this is an extremely stressful place to work. There is almost no work-life balance, often when you're off you're still expected to be online.
The pay is much lower than the market standard and was lowered due to COVID with no clear sign as to when it will return. With constant layoffs, employees are overworked and exhausted.
Yes, you can learn a lot here, but at the cost of your physical and emotional health. Highly DO NOT recommend.

I think that onboarding for people who are hired by terminal.io may feel a little lost, you feel you are not useful until about 5 days, which I still think is not bad I have met some companies where there are people who say that onboarding lasts 30 days.

- Engineering tasks are interesting to work on
- Engineers can have large input into product
- Team/managers are a pleasure to work with, makes you enjoy waking up for work each morning
- Leadership is extremely empathetic and has actively created policy to make the transition to remote easier

It's a high growth startup, so be prepared to have a lot of responsibility - but a lot of the people here love that part of the job, and it makes it extra rewarding!

Be proactive, not reactive. When you want something done, clearly outline what the ask is and what you are expecting, your team needs a little bit of direction from time to time. Spend more time with your junior level employees, don't just assume everything is great since they are newer.

Like any startup, AspireIQ is still figuring out org structure and processes, which can be stressful if you want a straightforward career path. I actually see this as an opportunity to try on different hats and help shape the company, which wouldn't happen at a later-stage company , but it's not for everyone.

Handful of incredible people. You can get a really high title with little to no experience.

Pay, toxic work environment, verbal abuse, under use and appreciation of some incredibly talented employees because they aren't in the "popular group", immaturity at all levels due to it being an incredibly young company, unlivable wages, un-ordinary retention loss and constant layoffs (dates far before COVID hit), etc. Sadly I could go on and on.
