People are generally friendly and easy-going, and the company seems to be improving with new leadership and processes.
|
There's a lot of technical debt and not always any willingness to fix things. A lot of time gets spent fighting fires while simultaneously lighting more fires.

Science and technology are tired. They're admirably trying to address the technology stack, but have limited science leadership left. After CTO/CSO departures, many others followed.

There is a reason everyone is leaving - there is no culture. It is obvious there is no career development, no personnel development programs, no opportunity for advancement. We understand you want to sell the company, but at least TRY to take care of your employees while doing so. Quit hiring from the outside for every possible opportunity.
Additionally, for those of us that have left, there is no one left in HR to take care of simple stuff like previous employment verification. It's laughable when you departed a year ago, have to reach back for something simple, and run into all the same dysfunction that caused you to leave in the first place.

Not a software Company - no career growth

Nothing great , way behind in technology and not up to Tech company standards.
You never get quick answer nor stable answer from HR.
They offer two or three people for same position who ever accept for low salary they get hired. I am saying this because two of my friends working in downtown area applied for same position and did interview on two different days but got offer after week on same day for same positions.

Above average compensation.
HR team used to be very caring and thorough, but they have mostly been fired.

Just finished a massive round of layoffs because of unrealistic revenue goals and no vision.
Poorly managed sales and customer team, botched expansion... if you can call it that.
Very top-heavy and massively political.
Brick and mortar retail is dying and this company is too.

The on-boarding process was one of the most smoothest processes I have ever been through. Everything was ready for me to hit the ground running on day one.
People are nice and very friendly, and will do everything they can to get the answers you need. The team I am a part of made me feel welcomed, and made sure I had everything I needed.
