There are standard rules that are not followed on a consistent basis. Management is generally really good I do have to say. Not a bad place to work, just shut up and do your job.

Hard work uncertain future

I worked there they did not give hardly any raises they gave bonus to certain few.You never new when you were going to get laid off or if you were going to get hired back. The future was uncertain.

Fun work enviroment

I learner how to work in a team based inviroment. My management was very nice. We got 10 minute breaks and 30 minute lunch. Everyone is very nice. Its a very fast past enviroment toward the weekends when everything got shipped out.

Needs some improvement

Some really great people work at Revision and there are some fantastic opportunities. Their summer internship program is very hands-on and school structured, perfect for anyone in college looking for a paid internship credit. The problem Revision has is retention. They hired around 20 interns with my group and, as far as I am aware, none of them were actually kept on following the summer's completion.
Revision does have some great engineering & admin/office style opportunities, but they tend to post these positions out to the general public before alerting current employees. This can make it extremely difficult to climb the ranks. It can also take a very long time before you hear any updates if you do apply for a position. It was over a month after submitting my internship application before I heard back from anyone.
They also struggle with branding and have difficulty connecting with customers outside of the military or law enforcement. I'm certainly no branding expert, but if I launched a line of outdoor eyewear for the general public (as opposed to the current military and law enforcement lines) I would have that information everywhere trying to capitalize on that market. As of right now, you'd be hard pressed to find any information about this on the current website (hint: try the very top left corner).
All and all most of the people you work with are great, but the company could really do with a more focused approach, clearer marketing targets, and better communication in all aspects of the business.

Very poor management.
|
There is constantly issues between employees and with the general work environment. They don't seem to care about the health risks that the employees are put into, such as using masks that are rated for less than what they are doing, or not providing replacement filters. They also constantly run out of work and everyone either goes home or sits doing nothing for 12 hours.
