Great place to learn about solar energy and all the incentives that come with it
|
This was a door-to-door lead generating job, the only problem I had was that we would go to the same neighborhood for a whole week to make sure we made contact with homeowners at least once. By the end of the week, the whole block would recognize us and police would be called/homeowners would confront us more often than not.

Revolve Solar is where I gained my outside sales experience

I loved selling solar as a solution to residential customers however Revolve Solar filed for bankruptcy and that was the end of my career with them.
Their Call Center manager, I had worked with at a different company previously and he was familiar with my work ethic, reliability, customer service skills and my consistent sales performance so he hired me to work for him. I was a Outbound call center representative for four in a half months and was promoted to Outside Solar Representative where I was closing at 53%.

This Company treats it lower level employees very poorly. the atmosphere was aggressive and counter intuitive. you will be expected to produce a high amount of leads everyday, regardless of location. Job security is negligible.

Micromanged too much/Reward mediocrity

One can live and breath by door to door canvassers or be sunk by them. Real sales people develop their own book of business. Excuses for weak managers breeds contempt. Older applicants may cause intimidation.

ground level is awesome ... poor ethics in upper management

if you're a salesman the company truly cherishes you and takes care of you.....as for the install department ground level managements awesome however upper management does not value their install team at all. lots of empty promises from upper management that never came true.....a good chunk of the installers were laid off on Christmas Eve with no notice or severance... as an installer the people you would be making wealthy would not care about you at all. Everyone else is way cool
