We do not have the same set-up or activities the original location has because we are still relatively new but they have done their best to bring over the same the vibe and energy from their PA location. There is basically two main departments, the fulfillment center (the warehouse) and Customer Service (front office-call center). I can only share my experience from the Customer Service end. Lots of training, procedural and product-wise. I have previous experience dealing with RevZilla.com as a customer and because I am a motorcycle rider already, it provides a shorter learning curve on product and parts. My particular position as a product specialist (aka Gear Geek) does require a Bachelor's degree to initially get into. You can also advance your way to the same position as a support specialist (aka Support Geek) after spending as little as a year. Core Values is something they pride themselves on and follow regularly. It can be found on the website, itself, at the bottom of the page. Customer service is something our company emphasizes and is well-known for. Management holds regular meetings weekly and quarterly to keep everyone in the loop on how our department is doing, as well as other departments (pertaining to us) and the company as a whole, which I truly appreciate. Little perks like a pool table in the cafeteria area and a small area in the warehouse consisting of workout gear like weights, a body punching bag, a rowing machine and a treadmill (the ping-pong table is also located there. Don't ask me why). Annual festivities/celebrations include Halloween and Christmas and even a special company celebration only known to employees as Zillapalooza which lasts a week. Benefits for full-time employees, 401K, tuition reimbursement, even something called RTO (riding time off) which is (unpaid) time off to use if you were to go on a motorcycle trip somewhere. It's a growing company so certain perks may no longer become available as the company expands and employee numbers grow, which is unavoidable sometimes, but for the most part I love working for this company and can see myself staying for the long haul. Management lacks common sense skills. Ran by petty adult children that are not organized even after being in business for over 12 years. They give perks like free beer (while on the clock) and catered lunches so that you don't focus on the negative aspects of the company. Because there are so many younger employees, gossip is high. They encourage significant others to apply so they save costs on things like holiday parties and company outings. Yet, there's quite a bit of favoritism and bonuses are not distributed based on metrics but opinion and bias. Unfair company to work for but they have the best part time system that really does work around your schedule, although there is a minimum of 8hrs a week. They take advantage of the need for work and then reject you for new employees. I could not ask any questions because everything was negative and everything was based on your convenience.
