Work-life balance was so-so. Coworkers (aside from the owner/boss) were usually fantastic. Culture is toxic. Owner/boss did not trust a single person on the team, so none of the team trusted him. The owner/boss of the company tends to be very much a micromanager. Not only do you have to do what he tells you and when, but also how he tells you to do it. No matter how uninformed he may be of the circumstances. He constantly keeps track of your performance using dubious-at-best math.
