Old fashioned and negative office culture

When 5 o'clock rolled around, you left your work at work and your time was your time. Good pay and benefits were excellent.
|
Terrible work culture. Very negative and hostile environment. Lots of bitterness and old employees not welcoming to new comers. People don't work together at all. Lots of back stabbing and the management doesn't listen to employees' suggestions for improvement. Small US office, so no room for advancement at all unless you are German. Didn't like the Vacation/illness structure. Any time not sitting at your desk was considered Paid Time Off so as a salaried worker, I used vacation time to take my son to the doctor.
