I worked at Rico for 17 years and the growth, knowledge and experience I gained there was unquestionably priceless. If your a go getter, person with drive, good attitude you will thrive at Rico. From working my way up from an employee to being a manager at Rico is a nod to Rico’s advancement program. I would recommend Rico to anyone that I feel would advance there but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone that is looking just for a job, it’s a career.

Management needs to keep focused on the new ERP scheduling, getting it dialed in, working correctly, I know it’s been painful since go live but proper scheduling will give all employees at Rico an advance insight on what their work priorities are. Keep at it and get it nailed down, will make everyone’s lives their more manageable. Also, a lot of reviews I’ve read that we’re negative is more a reflection on the writer than the company, as most people that have an ounce of decency would turn the other cheek.

Great place to work....if you like to get things done.

Family atmosphere, benefits, culture. Lot of great changes in management and leadership and the people they're bringing on board especially over the last year. There is greater accountability, support, training and a fresh focus on execution throughout the company. For those willing to roll up their sleeves, get things done and be accountable to yourself and the team, its a great place to work. Company has never had any debt, never borrowed money, is privately held and continues to grow even through the COVID-19 pandemic. Lot of growth opportunities here.

I am very grateful for my time at Rico Manufacturing. It has has benefited me greatly as a person and a professional. I do appreciate, and will miss, the people and positive relationships that have developed during my employment.
The company has enjoyed much success over the 8-1/2 years of my tenure that I attribute to a positive culture and a sound business plan. I’ve been provided with all the tools and resources required to grow and thrive in my position. I am proud of the behaviors and processes that I have been a part of developing for our Sales team. Management remained open to new ideas and allowed them to be vetted. Decisions were made by a collective to get the best results.

Everyone is very friendly, I haven't experienced any departmental barriers and believe that I can count on everyone here to help me be successful. I appreciate that management has an open door policy. They are always willing to take the time to teach and explain the way things work without judgement or belittlement. The benefits & vacation time are VERY good and start day one. Many other benefits such as stocked lunchrooms, cash and reward incentives. Who doesn't love that? Rico also puts back into the community which I appreciate.

None at this time. Don't let the past reviews discourage you. I would bet money that the bad reviewers on here were not good employees (anywhere) and are tying to pass the blame. Remember you get what you give.

Certainly my mistake for believing President when he talked about company being invested in me or anyone. President requires employees to write positive reviews on Glassdoor
