Rifle was a fun place to work but not so now . The workplace is under staffed and overworked . Employees are expected to do task that are above their pay grade without the pay. People are pushed into positions that they are not qualified for neither want . Not treated like humans but machines.

Only thing this company had going for it was its culture, which has disintegrated over time with the multiple CEO changes and company reorganization. I spent six years there , hoping and pushing for changes but it never happened. They ignore any advice given and continue to be ignorant snobs that they are. Don't bother with this place, they treat their employees like trash.

So many changes, most not good. You are a number not a person. Pretty products, ugly company. Expect to work overtime year round with little to zero notice and absolutely no gratitude. All this and more for a very low wage.

Easy to be promoted if you are willing and able to learn. Great floor supervisors. It does get chaotic and you may not always get what you need from upper management. Need to send out more shipments every year with little to no upgrades to equipment.

Terrible company
|
Overworked good employees because of all the bad apples. Not enough pay for employees or supervisors. Managers do not communicate with each other, to their supervisors and to their employees. Everything is just figure it out, put up with it and work harder. They get on the hardest workers and the ones who complain about work, hang out or leave and come when they want aren’t held accountable. There is bare minimum appreciation from the managers and some supervisors to the employees. I am surprised they are still in business with the amount of poor quality work that is done because they don’t listen to the issues from the team, don’t provide better work accommodations like not having to work in cramped work areas where it takes you double or triple the amount of time to get work done, more time and equipped people to properly train instead of throwing everyone under the bus, a proper confirmed schedule, safer work environments, up keep of supplies and working equipment. And the men that are in a supervisory or management position, do not know how to speak to people, don’t give the same respect and communication to the women in supervisory roles than they do the other men in power.

Busy environment, fast pace most of the time, overtime during holidays. Higher managers are nice. Some of the team leads take advantage of their position. Complimentary coffee bar. Casual work attire. Pay rate is not up to date to current times.

Don't waste your time
|
This used to be a fun company to work for it has now turned corporate to the point that all the internet memes about toxic workplace and management happen on a daily basis. People continue to stay in the hopes that management will be replaced and actual changes will be made, they have now either left or have given up hope for any improvement. The pay is low for what they ask on a daily basis. Do not expect any proper training, diversity or employee development. I've heard full-time employees talk about how they have to donate plasma to pay rent, enough said.

Poorly managed company lacking diversity
|
I worked at Rifle Paper Co. for more that 7 years. Over those years I watched this company grow by leaps and bounds. Expanding so quickly created a lot of growing pains, but for quite awhile they were able to make things work. Management and employees worked together in the trenches and took pride it what they were able to achieve.
Sadly, the past couple of years has seen a change for the worse. Management is completely disconnected from the people that help make them look good and get the work done. In the past where we saw many employees make their 4, 5 or 6 year anniversary, you now only see a revolving door of unhappy employees and temps.
