The hostile atmosphere, poor management, a lot of dying stuff to maintain

The office is quite okay - city center, terrace.
Tech stack is good.
|
Even tho my criteria to the IT companies quite low - this is one of the most awful places I ever worked in. Arrogance, disrespect and poor feedback cycles. The atmosphere is quite hostile and the attitude - "shut up and work" mostly.

Best family friendly company I had ever worked at in my 10 years experience as Software Engineer.
Flexible home office options. My colleague had been doing 1 day per week ever since he joined.
You can change almost anything within the engineering organization, given that you can backup your arguments with data. Almost zero politics in the team I had worked at. Don't really know about other teams.
Solid financing, not the type of startup going to be folded next year.
Very helpful CEO and HR team. Even offered help in one of the legal issue had in my private life, me being an immigrant.Thanks much to them.

Gender ratios could be better on engineering teams. But that is a problem in almost every startup I have been to.
