I was an intern when I came in but within a month or so of working they moved me and the other interns to work along side the full time devs. They value your personal development and want you to feel and see what working on production code is like. The hardest part of the job for me was getting acclimated to the environment. The setup for running their app locally is a bit complicated a took me about a week to really get up and going with it. Everyone in the office is very calm and relaxed, and if you want to grab a beer you're welcome to anytime.
