private:riskriskag https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=455876 Aug 7th, 2019 12:00AM Open Open RepRisk AG Zürich, Zürich Great company, with great people RepRisk is a great company to work at. The team is strong and motivated, and I have always felt that I can reach out to management when I have a problem, or with suggestions for improvement. The company's greatest asset are the great people it has captured, that are driven by the company's mission of having a positive impact and improving due diligence and ESG transparency. Working for a medium enterprise obviously means we do not have lavish perks and budgets. But it does not matter, because we come to work everyday with a purpose that goes beyond what money can buy. The company also fosters a very healthy work life balance. 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 APPROVE 0.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 4.0 3.0 5.0 455876 Open 0.0 [] REGULAR No Yes 0.0 Apr 13th, 2021 08:06PM Apr 13th, 2021 08:06PM RiskRisk AG

private:riskriskag https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=455876 Jan 19th, 2015 12:00AM Open Open RepRisk AG ESG Research Analyst Taguig Not the start-up you'd want to work for. Kind of hypocritical. If you are a freshman, Php20,000 is not that bad an offer. However, if you already had years of experience, it is too low. You only work 8 hours per day. There is a transportation allowance (company classifies it under non taxable in the payslip, but not sure since Form 2316 classifies it under taxable allowance). Company is open to global employees through the global meeting. Employees are updated on contracts acquired, etc. Colleagues are nice. It is in Taguig, relatively farther than Makati. If you commute to Makati, add another 30 minutes to an hour to your travel time. The company prides itself for helping companies in making investment decisions through ranking the reputational risk of companies through tracking their ESG issues, however, it has its fair share of ESG issues unresolved. First is occupational health and safety. The company only subleases. It has a small space. There are two one-meter desks (open), shared by a maximum of four employees. Cords are intertwined. When the PEZA officer/s checked the office, desks and seats were re-arranged, but soon after, went right back. Employees are also discouraged to in anyway communicate with the PEZA officer/s. The size of the company's office can also accommodate 16 people according to the PEZA rules. There is also a cockroach infestation in the office, making the drinking water and even the coffee at risk of being contaminated. It is not the best place to work for an introvert . The work are is too open. It feels crammed up. You work literally to closely to your colleague. Sometimes, when people talk it could get really distracting as it is too open. You don't have a locker or area/pedestal to put your things on. You literally worked the entire day, make the most of the 8 hours, sometimes it is not enough in order to meet your targets, practically everyone overstays, so it has an illusion of working just 8 hours. Discourages employees to take leaves. Not competitive salary and benefits vs competitors/industry, especially the leaves. There is a 3PM - 6 PM/4 PM - 7 PM mandatory period to give away to analysts. Note that that mandatory period is sacred. Issues could arise if you violate that mandatory period requirement. Yes, it could be taken against you and your "work ethics." Although the company says it is flexible, it only means you can come to work anytime before 1 PM and complete the 8 work hours per day. You can only leave the office at 6 PM/7PM, depending on DST. No rice allowance. No profit-sharing. There is no disciplinary measures and procedures in place, nor an arbitration procedure. If the company finds you at fault of something, there is no investigation made, no memo sent to you, nor do they ask for your side. Roles of GM and Operations Lead overlap. Poor leadership. Seems like working for a good cause, but it has its own ESG issues to address, it is kind of hypocritical with the Occupational Health and Employment conditions (especially regarding pay) is not addressed internally. Corporate values and reality do not meet. No real career opportunity. Being promoted only means increased tasks and responsibilities, not necessarily pay. -1.0 NEGATIVE 0.0 NEUTRAL 0.0 NO_OPINION 0.0 2.0 3.0 1.0 1.0 1.0 2.0 455876 Open Listen to your employee suggestions. Make sure there is a medium for employees to be able to communicate their concerns to the management without the fear that speaking up will be taken against them, or any kind of retaliation. Implement an official disciplinary measures and procedures that could be a guide for employees. Get the side of employees, not just make accusations. Also, take into consideration cross-cultural differences/culture in implementing anything. 0.0
Dear Anonymous,
Thank you very much for your feedback.
It is disappointing to read that your time with RepRisk Philippines, Inc. was not a positive one and the points you raise in your feedback have provided us with food for thought and for corrective action.

RepRisk aims to provide a fun, flexible and supportive work environment for all its employees while upholding our core values:
• Operational excellence
• Superior quality
• Honesty, reliability, responsiveness
• Flexible, open workplace
• Goal-oriented teamwork
• Personal and professional growth
• Humility

As implied by our core values, it is in RepRisk's interest to always be transparent with its employees and set clear expectations from the get-go. It is therefore disappointing that this may not have been achieved in your case and we will take steps to ensure existing and future staff do not have similarly negative experiences.

We have analyzed your review and while some of your claims are not factually accurate, we appreciate the constructive feedback and will make concerted efforts to address your concerns. Please find these laid out in 3 categories below:

I. Legal Concerns

1) Non-compliance with PEZA rules
Contrary to your statement, all tables within our office since start of commercial operations have been and have remained in accordance with PEZA regulations. Seating arrangement has changed on one occasion but has since been rectified.

2) Drinking water at risk of contamination
As with other companies regular pest controls are conducted by our building administration and our landlord conducts a regular internal pest control in addition. Saying this we have recognized this not to be satisfactory and have meanwhile taken a further step to hire a pest control specialist who has investigated and eliminated the root cause for recurrence. We will be continuing our service with this specialist.

3) Taxable allowances stated as non-taxable
For clarification our employee benefits are granted under the statutory laws as stated for personal exemptions for income tax, as mandated by Philippine law.

II. Factually Incorrect Concerns

1) No pay rise with promotions
Contrary to your statement, all official promotions are rewarded with a pay rise.

2) No disciplinary measures and procedures in place nor an arbitration procedure
While the company is still small we maintain a simple procedure for dealing with violations of company policies and procedures. All current disciplinary measures meet the minimum requirements of the Philippine Labor Code. However, we will review if this should be further standardized and regulated.

3) If the company finds you at fault of something there are no investigations made and the employees view is not asked
Contrary to this, we ensure major violations are always investigated and a response is communicated to an employee in at least one method of communication. No disciplinary actions are taken without prior investigation and notification.

4) Employees discouraged to take leaves
As outlined in our HR Handbook, RepRisk Philippines, Inc. encourages leaves to be taken to live a better work-life balance, this is applicable to all regularized employees. Probationary employees are entitled to accrue leaves during probationary period but require explicit authorization from management to take them during probation.

III. Personal Concerns

1) Bad office location in Taguig
2) Lousy office space
3) Not a place to work for an introvert
4) Office hours not flexible and mandatory 3 hours
5) Php20,000 is too low for someone with years of experience
6) No rice allowance

Your personal input here is greatly valued but it should be reiterated that all conditions above are explicitly laid out prior to employment. While it is understood we cannot meet the expectation of all jobseekers, we do take careful steps to create a working environment reflective of our high standards and to formulate a remuneration package that is competitive within our market.

Your Advice to Us:

1) Make sure employees can communicate their concerns to management without fear
2) Implement official disciplinary measures and procedures
3) Consider cross-cultural differences in implementing anything
4) Roles of GM and Operations Lead overlap, poor leadership
5) No locker space or pedestal

We thank you for this very good input. Upon discovery of your review we have held discussions both with our Manila team and with our Global Operations Management to investigate whether your concerns are shared by other employees and if there are further concerns to be addressed. Corrective measures are being implemented to ensure all points above will be addressed.

Thank you again for your feedback, we will use it as a basis for our Manila office to grow and improve and for us to live up to our standards in all aspects.

Best regards,
Peter Ing
General Manager, Philippines
REGULAR No No 1.0 Apr 13th, 2021 08:06PM Apr 13th, 2021 08:06PM RiskRisk AG
private:riskriskag https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=455876 Dec 14th, 2011 12:00AM Open Open RepRisk AG Zürich, Zürich It's so great that every day I'm making a difference! The Work - There are few opportunities in life when you have the opportunity to really make a difference to your client's in terms of supporting them through the delivery of the highest quality, environmental, social and governance business intelligence centred on published negative sentiment from a broad stakeholder audience. This information is used by financial organisations, multinationals and NGO's to tap into weak signals and anticipate risks to reputation and license to operate. Every day at RepRisk I am making a difference through serving the highest quality business intelligence into the tool our users access to source our business intelligence and the RepRisk Index. The People - It's so rare to be working with a team of individuals that are all in their very own right super smart, highly qualified, uniquely skilled and complementary to other members of the group. Every single person I have ever worked with is interesting as both professionals and individuals. What is even more unique is that everyone all genuinely cares for, likes and respects each other. The Environment - RepRisk is not a company with big hierarchies and corporate jargon. RepRisk is a dynamic, international, flat structured work environment where your voice counts in any discussion that is taking place across the business. We work very closely as a team, share open and transparently across the company and doors are always open, no matter what the job title. I am empowered to do my job, supported in the execution and challenged as a company to continuously improve the value we deliver every day to our customers. Most people don't work here for just the money - they work here because they passionately believe in what we are doing as a company and in our mission to help our clients achieve long-term success. If you are looking for the big expense accounts, chauffeured limousines, big travel budgets don't bother - this company is green, low cost and environmentally friendly in both its thinking and execution. We don't take the lift, we take the stairs. We don't take an electric taxi when we can take a bus or a tram. We also all have a balanced lives and most people work late only when absolutely necessary. In fact the company encourages that. Having slaved my whole life for corporate giants its refreshing to be in a company that values family. 1.0 POSITIVE 3.0 5.0 5.0 0.0 4.5 4.0 5.0 455876 Open 1.0 [] No Yes 0.0 Apr 13th, 2021 08:06PM Apr 13th, 2021 08:06PM RiskRisk AG
