I could have not then any happier then when I was volunteering at horizons Hampton roads in Norfolk because it felt great to volunteer at a place that I spend my summers and I just want to return the favor because this program has done a lot for me.

Office staff will stab you in the back
Branch manager is rude, condescending and unprofessional. Sits on the phone watching YouTube most of the day in between gossiping about other employees in front of staff

To start, I was given no training whatsoever and left to figure things out on my own. I was in a tiny office with one other person. Despite another person from a different office (HR rep? Upper management?) offering to help, when asked, this person was supremely unhelpful and constantly "busy" with other business. There was little structure for how to do job duties and no clear management structure. When I encountered employee issues, HR was impossible to reach and mostlly asked me not to complain. The worst was the client and recruitment "structure." I was a low level employee but was asked to call and solicit companies with no script or advisment to see if they wanted to use our service. When recruiting, we either took every single applicant or guessed at whether someone was legit. Often sent employees to work before background checks went through and had to remove them after discovering they were felons or otherwise violent criminals. Was asked to "remotely recruit" states away where the company had no office, which included asking applicants for sensitive information like photos of their IDs and SSN cards. When this became difficult, I received no assistance or reassignment. Instead, I was "laid off" due to a "slow season" immediately after a holiday with no warning or otherwise reasoning - one week before I would have been eligible for a raise and other benefits. DO NOT TAKE THIS JOB.

i was hired on but got no work, not one job, when i was first hired on i was told its winter slow time of the year next spring things will get super busy, but the whole time i was hired on there i kept being told sorry no work today, sorry maybe tomorrow sorry maybe next week, then i noticed they had job postings online seeking workers but when i asked why i was not being called into work i got no answer, they did not seam to care when i gave me notice and quit, No i do not recommend this company.
